Dossier
Douglas — Doug the Pug — is the Conspiracy's analyst, which is a polite way of saying he is the one who sits with vast amounts of raw information and produces the precise slice of it that is actually actionable. He works from a studio apartment surrounded by monitors, whiteboards, and an archive of printed materials that would take a team of archivists two years to catalogue. He is unprepossessing by design. No one looks at Doug twice in any room, which he considers a professional asset of the highest order. He has identified the behavioral signatures of eleven individuals that the Conspiracy subsequently confirmed as targets. He does not go into the field. The field, he has noted, is extremely inconvenient.
